Tiger Woods is STILL a N* Word to Many

Regardless of how much money a black man makes/has, in the eyes of anyone non-black, you are a NIGGER. Even the non-whites, meaning, Hispanics, and any other ethnic race that did not originate from Europe, sees blacks as inferior to them because they wish to be equal with whites, or "the team that's winning". It's their way of "kicking us while we're down and trying to get up"; it'll look cool to them and those they are trying to impress. It's a sick, demented, way of climbing the racial and social ladder, to impress those you see as "the master", "the boss of things".

This is not the first time, in public, Tiger Woods has been put "in place", by classifying him by the foods people of darker skin color tend to eat. The apology is hollow; it means nothing. The apology Sergio made is just an attempt to maintain whatever sponsorship and endorsements he may have, and to take the heat off the clubhouse; because I'm pretty sure many in the clubhouse feel the same way about Tiger. When Fuzzy Zoeller made the same type comment in 1997 after Tiger won The Masters, Zoeller lost endorsements; so Sergio is trying to hold on to what he has by quickly apologizing.

Redskins survive Tampa Bay, 24-22

On a day where it seemed as if the Washington Redskins had the game in complete control, big plays against the secondary provided confidence for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second half which allowed the game to go from a potential blowout to a nail biter. In the end, it was on the suspect foot of Redskins kicker, Billy Cundiff (1-4 game; 6-10 on the season), to put the Redskins ahead with :03 seconds remaining after missing 3 previous field goal attempts during the game.

NFL Referees are going back to work

It was only a matter of time before the scab referee's had worn out their welcome.  The NFL had seen enough on the field fiasco's and heard enough of the complaints about the scab referee's incompetence and lifted the lockout of the regular cast of officials.

What in "D" Hell....?!!!?

The Washington Redskins lose their second straight game with a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, 38-31.  First year quarterback, Robert Griffin III had another spectacular game, throwing for 221 yards on 21/34 passing, and rushing for 85 yards.  As RGIII has shown poise, steady, and consistency as a first year quarterback, something the franchise has been missing in a long time, the issue now is the Washington defense.

The Washington Nationals have secured a playoff berth, the first in 79 years for the Washington based baseball franchise.

'Skins wide receiver, Josh Morgan gets death threats after loss

This past Sunday against the St. Louis Rams, Washington Redskins receiver Josh Morgan made a bone head play that resulted in a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that took the team out of range for a game-tying field goal.  It also resulted in some threatening messages coming his way via his Twitter account.

Washington Redskins defeat New Orleans Saints, 40-32

Hail to those damn WASHINGTON REDSKINS!!!!! Doin’ it big out there in New Orleans, with a win over the Saints 40-32.

On a day where 5 rookie quarterbacks started on Opening Day, Robert Griffin III was the only one to win his game. There was a lot of skepticism going into Sunday’s game on whether or not the pressure of a big first game against one of the NFL’s top teams would cause Redskin rookie quarterback, Robert Griffin III to buckle. After watching the game, since the opening kickoff, RGIII not only quelled those feelings of skepticism, he looked like a poised veteran.

RGIII threw for 320 yards and 2 touchdowns, all the while, maintaining his composure in this first NFL game. The New Orleans Saints put some pressure on RGIII to start the game, but the offensive line held up from start to finish. That’s a good thing, but it’s one thing that P³ Entertainment have noticed over the last few years; the offensive line holds up for the first 6-7 weeks of the season, then that first injury causes a domino effect that holds as drastic and tragic for the ‘Skins. Their depth on the offensive line has been a problem over the past few years, and when a first string player goes down, they usually have to replace him with a player that would then have to play out of position. Let’s knock on wood and hope that it doesn’t come down to this method of holding up a line, and let’s see RGIII succeed. The line needs to hold up in order for this franchise to get what they bargained for in order to move up the draft to select RGIII with the #2 overall pick in the 2012 draft.

Robert Griffin III’s rookie debut performance ranked second amongst rookies all-time in the categories of passer rating (139.9), behind Frank Tarkenton’s 148.6 in 1961; passing yards, behind Cam Newton’s 422 in 2011; and third in completion percentage behind Rick Mirer’s 74.1 in 1993 and Tarkenton’s 73.9 in 1961. That’s pretty impressive, and was expected by those who have followed him closely and truly believe he is the real deal.

Let’s hope the die hard ‘Skins fans don’t jump the moon over this one victory. Last season the team won in Week 1 over the eventual Super Bowl Champions, New York Giants, in convincing fashion, only to win 4 more games for the rest of the season. You have to remember the look on Mike Shanahan’s face during the post game press conference, as if he had a winner on his hands. He looked so proud, even with a certain sly smirk on his face, as if he had stuck it to the media and naysayers for not giving his team a chance to win……….after one game. Then the tumble began after a couple weeks and the rest is history, failing to improve from a previous dismal year. Let’s hope this trend doesn’t continue, as we’ve heard a few fans on the radio this morning proclaiming Super Bowl after 1 game. We know it’s pride and happiness after the team wins a hyped game that makes people say crazy things, but going to the Super Bowl after winning 1 game is………….crazy. Let’s just bathe in the success of a Week 1 victory, celebrate with each passing victory, and when we make the playoffs, and get into position to touch a Super Bowl, then say those crazy things; because then, those crazy things that one may say, may become an actual reality.

P³ Entertainment is proud of Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins after all the moves they’ve made to put themselves in a winning position. But the moves aren’t enough, it’s the play on the field. With each passing week, playing with PRIDE will lead to PROSPERITY on the football field; and with PROSPERITY comes the POWER. Obtaining POWER is the ultimate goal in whatever ventures you partake, whether it be your 9 to 5, or playing football for our beloved Washington Redskins; earning that POWER through PRIDE and PROSPERITY is the ultimate goal to success. RGIII has shown he plays with PRIDE, which led to PROSPERITY, and if he continues on, he can be a very POWERful man in the DMV.

If you follow the P³ Entertainment steps to success, you to, can be the person you dream of being.

LET'S GO SKINS!!!!!!

Commentary: Gilbert Arenas - The Everyday Idiot

Many say a picture is worth a thousand words, but in this case, this picture is worth Gilbert Arenas losing $147,200 per game and being suspended indefinitely without pay by the NBA.

Gilbert Arenas of our 'beloved' Washington Wizards was suspended indefinitely for his role in an incident with teammate, Javaris Crittenton, involving gunplay. At first, Gilbert claimed he brought the guns to the Verizon Center to keep them out of reach of his young children and he wanted arena personell to put them in a safe place for him. To us, that makes no sense, because anyone with a few dollars can go to Dick's Sporting Goods, Office Depot, Staples, someplace like that and buy a safe. He could have gone the easy route and just did that, but nope, he's trying to hide behind his child as his excuse for bringing the guns to the arena. Days later, the truth is starting to come out as to why he had the guns in his locker. Now he states he wanted to play a joke on a teammate. WTF! What is dude thinking? Who plays a joke with anyone with a guy, loaded or unloaded? Gilbert isn't in his right frame of mind. No one carries guns around and then pulls them out on someone as a joke. But to make the story even sweeter, it's being said that Crittenton did the same thing in retaliation. So not only do we have the 'star' of the basketball team walking around with guns like John Dillinger, but other dudes on the team are doing the same thing. SMH!! Come on millionaires, think.........think.

So more to this story unfolds over the next couple days where it would seem that Arenas and Crittenton had a beef over a high stakes card game that took place on the team plane. Gilbert lost and he had to pay up, but he allegedly didn't. We would now assume Crittenton, who makes around $15,000 per game, wants his money. Now lets do the math, Gilbert makes $147,200 per game, Crittenton makes around $15,000; with a difference of $132,200; "Gilbert, I want my money, and I want it now".

Gilbert is known for doing lots of charity work, working with inner city children, donating money, etc, so he says he has no reason not to pay up if he lost the game; but apparently so. Now none of us will know what was said to cause Gilbert to pull his toast on Crittenton, if that's what happened, but the story just keeps getting better. Apparently, Crittenton was seen walking around the locker room with his pistol, with one in the chamber, whistling. That shows that he's waiting for his opponent to show at the O.K. Coral. So no one knows what happens next, or at least no one will speak of it. We hear that there may be some video of the locker room incident and that the Wizards organization is eagerly willing to turn it over to authorities. I guess they trying to get his contract voided, so they can save money on the cap and get in the running for one of those big free agents this summer..........just a thought.

Many are wondering what's going to happen to Crittenton, and that he's such a small figure, that he could be cut without anyone even knowing or caring. But the mystery is, the authorities want to know if Crittenton really had a gun, because there has been no news on whether or not he even had one and the story of him patiently waiting to have a shootout are true. It's up in the air as to what's going to happen to him, but we don't think anyone really cares. But if the supposed video shows otherwise, he's going to have just as much heat as Gilbert has.

Now lets talk about the picture....Gilbert, Gilbert, Gilbert. What are you thinking, you idiot? You're already in trouble for bringing the guns to the arena. The organziation is pissed that you did so, and the authorities are trying to figure out what to do with you. If you just stop playing for one second, all could have been forgotten about; just like Delonte West. But nope, you had to show a sprinkle of retardation and jump around in the pregame huddle in Philadelphia, pretending to shoot at teammates. Not taking what's going on seriously, the picture shows that the teammates are having a grand ole time with Gilbert "The Town Jester", and now their asses are in trouble. And to top it all off, Gilbert says he feels that the heat on his isn't warranted because he feels that he did nothing wrong. He says that if he did something wrong, he'd apologize, but since he doesn't think he did anything wrong, there will be no apologies. SMH!! Dude, you're done, plain and simple. That's like slapping the Laws of the Land and the NBA in the face. Now you've tried their hand and made them act on you. What happened, took place two weeks prior and the league didn't do anything. They told the Wizards not to do anything and let the law handle it, because the law usually lets celebrities skate on something as "small" as this. Now you've spit in the wind and it's going to hit you dead in your face, and it's cold and windy outside playa.

Now Daniel Stern has finally spoken, Gilbert, you're "unfit to take an NBA court", go home, and we're not paying you. So wait for the law to come knocking on your door and haul your dumb ass to jail. Gilbert has shown several instances where he's just real stupid in the past, and many have written it off as quirkiness. All the jibber jabber in his blogs, talking crazy during interviews, etc was a sign. Now that quirkiness has manifested into something else in which he's now broken the law and most likely will be made an example of. We hate to see that type of stuff happen to anyone, but when you're being a dumb ass and you're rich at that; that's a bad mixture. The microscope is on him at all times because of the money he makes, so he has to be extra careful with what he does and says. I guess he didn't care, but what he doesn't care about, the law does, and for his stupidity, he's going to have to go through the system. Even if he walks out of this with probation, his ass should now learn to keep his mouth shut and do what he WAS paid to do, and that's play hoops.

Let this be a lesson to everyone that toting guns around for the hell of it isn't proving nothing. We recommend that if you got a problem with someone, be a man about it, and talk it out. No sense in someone getting in deep trouble for either killing another or getting caught doing something stupid; like carrying around guns. Gilbert's life was not in any danger, so there was no need to bring them to the arena. On top of that, he lied on his daughter as the reason why he did it; that's fucked up. And that means he's lied to authorities, which is also a negative. Boy, he's stacking them up; at least 4 possible felonies, lying to the police, gambling, I'm pretty sure they'll blame him for the possibility of the team being dismantled. Who knows, and we'll continue to monitor the situation. Plea bargain anyone?

Oh yeah, and Happy Birthday Gil. One word of advice to you, save your money.

Commentary: Washington Redskins

Well, what can we say? The proof is now in the pudding that the Washington Redskins, our beloved Washington Redskins are officially one of the worst teams in the NFL. We're not saying they ARE the worst team in the league because they lost to the Detroit Lions, a team that hasn't won a game in 22 months, dating back to December 2007; we're saying they're the worst team in the league because they walk with an arrogance as though certain down-and-under teams are below them, then turn around and lose to them. Also, if you really pay close attention, many-a-good thing happens to other teams and players at the Washington Redskins expense. Bad teams beat us, individual players and teams have record breaking performances against us, just the league in general get their nut off on the Redskins. Look at highlight reels from ESPN or NFL Films, the Redskins are always on the receiving end of something negative to us and positive to someone else. We haven’t seen a Redskin yet do something big against some other team in the league yet, or at least in recent memory. And the players have the nerve to walk with swag?

The players on the team do not deserve to walk with the swag they think they can walk with because they are a bunch of overpaid, underachieving millionaires. Just because they have deep pockets don't translate into respect from the local community or on the football field. They need to win games. Just because they hustled Daniel Snyder doesn't mean they can sit back and relax, and play a little bit of football, knowing that a good portion of their contracts are guaranteed. That's the mentality these kats have on the Washington Redskins. Winning a championship isn't the first thing on their minds; nope, it's throwing an after-party someplace in the District, trying to become a local television celebrity by showing up in Eastern Motors commercials, or tricking their money off on some broad that's along for the ride. That's not swag at all. How about winning some football games and earning the respect of the fans and not getting laughed at by the entire NFL for losing to a team they should have crushed? Remember, according to Clinton Portis, the Washington Redskins are one of the most, if not, thee most talented team in the NFL........on paper. He got that right, on paper.

The team is littered with highly regarded athletes who are either living off past accomplishments on other teams, then got paid, or over the hill players, who can't stay healthy, and are now overpaid because their contracts drag out for so long, they can be "injured" for as long as they please and they still get paid without playing. Shawn Springs played the oft injured role to perfection here in Washington. We're surprised no one called him on the game he was playing. Every year he would come into training camp injured, sit out most of the season injured and only play in the big games like Dallas, Philadelphia, or when some high powered team comes into town like New England or Baltimore. It was like he was picking and choosing when he wanted to play and no one called him on it. Well Springs is water under the bridge now. He's gone and playing nice and healthy for New England, go figure. But he's the type of player this franchise has attracted or drafted since Daniel Snyder bought the team ten or so years ago. The team has some good names on paper, but when you get them on the field, it's a different story. It's been proven through history, having a "stacked squad" doesn't translate to winning anything. You may win a few games here and there, but when it all counts, that chemistry must work and this team has no chemistry.

The mad scientist, Daniel Snyder, is to blame. The issues of any franchise, whether it positive or negative, starts with ownership/upper management, all the way down to the equipment manager. This team has had no chemistry since Snyder took it over by trying to create a fantasy football team of big names and over-the-hill players, and signing them to huge contracts that they'd have to be completely brain dead not to sign. Over the years, Snyder has continued this trend until it's to the point he can't even spend money on free agents because all the money is locked up on players he's signed to high-end deals and they are totally ineffective. Either the player wasn't what the franchise thought he'd be, he took the money and sat on it, or he got traded away and the team still pays a good portion of the remaining contract, while that player is contributing with another team. Players around the league know, that if they want a big payday, sign with Washington. That's a known inside thing in the NFL. The owner of the Washington Redskins has a open wallet and if you have a decent season during the last year of your contract with another team, Snyder is going to come calling. And after making so many of these phone calls, the teams he's put together over the last few years are nothing but a motley crew of pieces that don't fit in the grand scheme of trying to maintain a winning franchise. On paper, it's supposed to work. They have players that other teams could use, but here in Washington, for whatever reason, those players don't work well together. The chemistry just isn't there or is it because the effort to win isn't displayed on the field?

What happened this past Sunday at Detroit was that the Washington Redskins gave up in the first half of the game. The swag they think they posses was all gone because they thought they were going into Detroit for an easy win. When they saw that they were going to, now gasp, play to win, their spirits were broken. The same thing happened to them last season when the 1-6 St. Louis Rams came into FedEx Field and won their second game of the season 8 games into the season against the 6-1 Washington Redskins. After that loss, several Redskin players admitted that they were over-confident and overlooked the Rams; and said it with a smile on their faces. How can you overlook any team in the NFL, let alone, any sport? You still need to suit up and go out and earn the victory, no matter who the opponent is, and what their record may be. This disgusting attitude has landed Washington’s team in the situation it’s in now. The media and management may blame Coach Jim Zorn for not preparing the team for games, as well as questionable play calling, and a whole lot of other stuff, but when it comes down to it, it’s execution that gets the win at the end. Execution is something this team does not know how to create.

What are the factors for this teams inconsistency? Truth be told, the Washington Redskins have been an inconsistent franchise since…….forever. They may have a few Lombardi trophies in the case, but almost every team in the league does. At some point in time, a bad team gets a run going and wins something, and then there are the teams that are consistently good. Over the 77 years the team has existed, they only have a .515 winning percentage. From where we come from, a .515 winning percentage is average. Average, to the Washington fans isn’t acceptable, because the Washington fans want to see a consistent winner. We aren’t spoiled by any means; we just want to see our team win. And losing to the door mats of the league in consecutive seasons isn’t going to make the fans happy, nor will it bring some sort of stability to this franchise.

Now with that loss and even before that loss, Coach Jim Zorn’s job security is tested. He has to do something to bring life back into this franchise and the fan base. P³ Entertainment has talked to several diehard Washington Redskin fans and they are ready to “walk away”. We know they’re not going to start supporting other teams, but they are going to ignore the team and focus their time and energy on other things. There is no reason to continue to watch this franchise fail time and time again, when “on paper” they are the best team in the NFL. If you watch “the best NFL team on paper” actually play, they are not the best team in the NFL in any fashion. They may be in the top 10 in a majority of the offensive statistical categories, but they can’t score when they get into the Red Zone. That’s been their problems for the past few years. Red Zone offense is an issue that needs to be resolved, and quickly. And not only is the Red Zone offense a problem, their corner and defensive backs are getting burned game after game. They can’t cover an old lady using a walker in a route and any decent quarterback who studies film should know to go at the DBs every game with malice in their hearts. The offensive line is only good for so many games before they start to break down, because the franchise refuses to draft young backups for the offensive line positions and utilize them sparingly so they can gain some sort of experience. They trade away their high draft picks for players who were a problem child for other teams and then lose them to free agency a year later or trade that player away for another player of no value to the team. That’s why the problems of the team start at the very summit and works it way down. The very attitude of how the franchise is run trickles down to the players and even lower. The fans now see this and wish for a change, but there will be no change as long as Daniel Snyder continues to own the franchise and micro-manages the player personnel. He’s going to run the franchise as he sees fit and in his vision; no matter how convoluted his vision may be. And in the meantime, the players are going to get paid then chill, and we as fans are going to continue to see this bullshit of a football team and be pissed off every other Monday because they can’t get it together.

P³ Entertainment wish the Redskins well during this young season. We hope Coach Jim Zorn doesn’t lose his job because the players just don’t fit and he doesn't have much to work with. Maybe he should step up and tell Daniel Snyder to get him players that he knows will work in his scheme, instead of using the parts that Snyder sees as his play pieces to a winning team. Sometimes stepping to the boss isn’t a bad idea when all other ideas just don’t work. Good luck Redskins.

This is P³ Entertainment with a commentary, straight, no chaser.
